Top Gun Vegas Attraction Relocates to New $12.5M Strip Site

Advent Allen Entertainment has secured a new Strip parcel for its long-planned Top Gun attraction. The company announced Tuesday that it acquired a 2.48-acre site on Las Vegas Boulevard at Russell Road. Property records show the site sold this month for $12.5 million. This purchase marks a change in location for the aviation-themed venue, which was previously planned for The STRAT. Developed with Paramount, Top Gun Vegas will bring the film franchise to life through themed dining and interactive attractions. Company officials called it a milestone for expanding Strip entertainment beyond gambling.

Inside the New Top Gun Vegas Location on the Strip

Top Gun Vegas will sit at 4815 South Las Vegas Boulevard. It sits between the Little Church of the West and the Pinball Hall of Fame. The site is also just south of the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign. This location fronts Las Vegas Boulevard and backs onto Harry Reid International Airport. That layout offers a real aviation backdrop for the project. Developers say it supports a Hangar 2-inspired design. Mark Advent, co-founder of Advent Allen Entertainment, called it a fitting home for the brand.

He said the location creates a powerful sense of place, tying aviation, Top Gun, and Las Vegas together.

Clark County Building Department records already show an application pre-review.

Hard Deck Bar, Thrill Ride, and Immersive Attractions

Top Gun Vegas will include a recreation of the Hard Deck restaurant and bar. The space is drawn from "Top Gun: Maverick" and is expected to feature live piano sing-alongs. Plans also call for immersive attractions, experiential dining, and retail space. Paramount has also brought in an engineering partner for the project. Simtec Systems was named the engineering and manufacturing partner for a flight-themed thrill ride. Josh Silverman, Paramount's president of global products and experiences, praised the progress. He said the Top Gun franchise has captivated audiences around the world for nearly four decades. Silverman added that the new site "exemplifies the spirit of the franchise."

Top Gun Vegas Timeline: From The STRAT to the Strip

The Top Gun project has shifted locations twice since its 2025 debut announcement. It was first unveiled for The STRAT with a planned 2028 opening. That version featured fighter jet simulators alongside the Hard Deck concept. Advent Allen later dropped STRAT references before confirming the new Strip site. No construction timeline has been released for the relocated project. Developers must still finalize architectural plans and secure contractors. The project also needs to clear Clark County's permitting process. Advent Allen is a newly formed company without a track record in themed attractions. Its co-founder, Mark Advent, previously helped create the New York-New York Hotel & Casino. The site sits near new stadiums planned for MLB's Athletics and an NBA franchise.
