Resorts World Las Vegas Hits Two $1M+ Jackpots in Weeks

A slot player from California won $1,565,954.64 on a Dragon Link machine Sunday, Aug. 23, at Resorts World Las Vegas, a casino spokesperson said. The jackpot hit on a $2,500 spin, landing the Grand Progressive and a bonus winning combination. This marked the second Dragon Link progressive jackpot at the Strip resort in just over two weeks. A Texas visitor won $1,896,388.88 at the same property on Aug. 8, playing the Dragon Link "Happy and Prosperous" game at a $250 bet after roughly eight minutes of play.

Idaho Man Wins $927K at The Strat on $3 Bet

Jason R. of Idaho Falls, Idaho, won $927,063 on a Dancing Drums Dragon machine Friday, Aug. 21, at The Strat, according to a casino spokesperson.

He started playing at 5:30 a.m. with $3 spins and needed just six minutes to land the jackpot.

The Strat's 80,000-square-foot casino floor includes 750 slot machines and 44 table games. The resort also runs an in-house progressive jackpot that allows a maximum bet of 75 cents.

The two wins add to a run of significant payouts across Las Vegas this month, from Strip resorts to downtown properties.
