Oprah Winfrey Brings New Immersive Show 'AHA' to Sphere

Oprah Winfrey is bringing a new immersive show to Sphere in Las Vegas. Titled "Oprah Winfrey's AHA," the two-hour production runs for a single weekend, April 2-4, 2027. Four performances are scheduled across the weekend. Winfrey will appear live on stage alongside musicians, poets, and artists. Organizers call it a "musically immersive symphony of senses." The event marks the latest star-driven booking at Sphere, following residencies from U2, Metallica, and the Eagles. Presented by Live Nation, "AHA" brings together an internationally recognized creative team. Tickets start at $145. Presale access opens this week, ahead of general on-sale on September 25.

Jacob Collier, Ocean Vuong Join Winfrey's Sphere Show

Winfrey will share the stage with seven-time Grammy winner Jacob Collier. Poet and author Ocean Vuong, musician Ajeet, and gospel singer Wintley Phipps round out the lineup. Organizers say additional surprise guests may join across the four shows, though names are subject to change. Performances are scheduled for Friday and Saturday evenings, plus a Sunday matinee and evening show.

Winfrey said the idea began after she attended U2's opening night at Sphere in 2023. "This is an experience that is a symphony for your senses," she said. The show is designed exclusively for Sphere's wraparound format.

It weaves live speaking, music, poetry, and film into one continuous performance.

The Creative Team Behind Winfrey's Sphere Show

"AHA" was designed by director Ethan Tobman, a previous Sphere collaborator. It is produced by Baz Halpin, founder of Silent House Group. Oscar-nominated composer Max Richter serves as musical director. Producer Jon Hopkins and vocal director Jason White round out the music team. Moonlight screenwriter Tarell Alvin McCraney contributed the show's story. Stage designer Es Devlin created original visual works for the production.

The show will use Sphere's high-resolution wraparound LED display and its Sphere Immersive Sound audio system. Winfrey serves as executive producer on the project. According to the show's official announcement, she is joined by producers Jennifer Rudolph Walsh, Tara McNally Montgomery, and Ben Winston.

Ticket Prices, Presale Dates, and Travel Packages

Tickets for "AHA" start at $145. General public sales open September 25 at 10 a.m. PT. A venue presale begins September 24, followed by additional windows through Ticketmaster and Seated. Vibee travel packages, including a two-night stay at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, opened for presale today, September 15.

Sphere has hosted several limited-run events beyond traditional concert residencies. Past examples include New Year's Eve programming and the venue's ongoing "Wizard of Oz" film experience. Sphere is located at 255 Sands Avenue on the Las Vegas Strip. The addition of "AHA" continues that pattern of high-production events built for the venue's immersive technology.
