Las Vegas' Station Casinos Debuts New 50th Anniversary Logo

Station Casinos is celebrating 50 years in Las Vegas with a new logo and a citywide brand campaign. The locals casino giant launched the rebrand Wednesday, tying it to the anniversary of its founding on July 1, 1976. Its new logo draws on the company's original Bingo Palace design from the 1970s. The design pulls from vintage playing cards, casino chips, matchbooks and classic roadside signage in the company's archives. This refreshed identity arrived alongside a new campaign called "From Vegas, For Vegas, Always Vegas."

Bingo Palace Roots Inspired Station's New Logo

Station Casinos built its new logo around its founding story. Frank Fertitta Jr. opened a 5,000-square-foot venue called The Casino on Sahara Avenue on July 1, 1976. The venue expanded into the Bingo Palace in 1977, then became Palace Station in 1984. This updated logo reimagines the arch from Bingo Palace's original roadside sign. Branding agency The New Company worked with Station's in-house marketing team on the design.

Frank Fertitta IV, executive vice president of operations, said the logo is "a meaningful nod to where we began and the local community that has been part of our story from the start." He added that the company's commitment to locals remains as strong as ever as it moves into its next 50 years.

Station's Anniversary Campaign Launches with Fireworks

The new "From Vegas, For Vegas, Always Vegas" campaign debuted Tuesday evening at Palace Station, the property where Station Casinos began. Celebrations included a fireworks and drone show starting at 9 p.m. The campaign spans broadcast spots, social media activity and an out-of-home advertising takeover.

Vintage photo booths were set up at the company's seven large properties, along with custom merchandise tied to the anniversary.

Station Casinos employs nearly 10,000 people across Southern Nevada. Fertitta called the milestone a big deal for his family and team members. Station Casinos also operates gaming taverns under the Wildfire and Seventy Six brands.

Anniversary Chips, Fireworks and Durango's Expansion

Guests can buy a limited-time 50th anniversary logo collection during the celebration. It's available on $5 and $25 chips at the cage and Player Services desks. The anniversary branding also appears on complimentary Boarding Pass cards and gift shop merchandise. Station Casinos plans fireworks shows on July 4 at six of its large properties. Looking ahead, Fertitta pointed to the company's newer Durango property in the southwest valley. He said the north expansion of Durango is under construction and expected to be ready around next summer. Fertitta noted that the company is working on other projects, which it will detail later. Frank Fertitta Jr. retired from Station Casinos in 1993, handing control to his sons Frank III and Lorenzo.
