MGM, Caesars and Wynn CEOs Join Wayne Gretzky at G2E 2026

The Global Gaming Expo (G2E) returns to The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas from Sept. 28 through Oct. 1. This year's Main Stage lineup includes three major casino CEOs with hockey legend Wayne Gretzky.

MGM Resorts CEO Bill Hornbuckle, Caesars Entertainment CEO Tom Reeg and Wynn Resorts CEO Craig Billings will discuss global gaming expansion on Tuesday, Sept. 29. BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt will then interview Gretzky about sports, betting and performing under pressure.

G2E is also debuting a Business Solutions & Tech Zone this year. The area covers artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, payments and customer relationship management (CRM) technology for integrated resorts. More than 25,000 industry professionals are expected to attend the four-day show.

American Gaming Association (AGA) President and CEO Bill Miller will open Tuesday's Main Stage session with a keynote address. He will welcome attendees and highlight the innovation driving the legal gaming industry.

A panel featuring Hornbuckle, Reeg and Billings will follow. CNBC correspondent Contessa Brewer will moderate the discussion. Topics will include expansion in Las Vegas and abroad, integrated resorts, technology and tourism.

Miller said the sessions would "bring together influential voices to share insights, spark meaningful conversations and discuss the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead for our industry." The discussion should offer a look at where major operators see long-term growth.

Wayne Gretzky Talks Hockey, Sports Betting and Greatness With BetMGM CEO

After the CEO discussion, Greenblatt will sit down with Gretzky on the Main Stage. Their conversation will center on the convergence of sports, digital innovation and sports betting. Gretzky is expected to reflect on the coaches, teammates and family members who shaped his career. Greenblatt will share lessons from leading BetMGM through a period of rapid industry change.

Organizers framed the talk as an exploration of "what it truly takes to achieve greatness." The pairing reflects gaming's deepening ties to professional sports.

Betting operators have increasingly turned to athletes for marketing and credibility. That trend has accelerated as regulated sports wagering has spread across North America.

New Business Solutions & Tech Zone Spotlights AI and Cybersecurity

New for 2026, the Business Solutions & Tech Zone extends G2E beyond the traditional casino floor. The area gathers enterprise technology providers that serve integrated resorts. Categories include CRM and loyalty platforms, AI and data analytics, and cybersecurity and compliance tools. Payments, workforce tools and marketing technology round out the lineup.

Daily "Coffee & Conversations" sessions will let attendees discuss AI adoption with technology leaders. Education sessions include "State of AI in Gaming 2026" and a look at how iGaming teams use automation to fight fraud. Organizers said the zone was built around the operational complexities specific to gaming and hospitality.
