Eagles Add Four New Las Vegas Sphere Dates for January 2027

Eagles have added four new performances to their Las Vegas Sphere residency. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band announced the January 2027 shows on Monday, Aug. 3. Fans can catch the group at Sphere on Jan. 15, 16, 22, and 23. The additions push Eagles' total Sphere appearances to 72 concerts. That figure keeps the band's run as the longest residency in the venue's history. General ticket sales begin Friday, Aug. 14, at 10 a.m. PT through Ticketmaster. Artist presale access opened earlier in the week on Eagles.com.

Eagles Sphere Residency History and Ticket Details

Eagles first launched their Sphere residency in September 2024. The band has steadily extended the run with new blocks of shows since. This latest addition follows a batch of December 2026 dates announced a month earlier. According to a press release, the January shows were added due to overwhelming demand.

Presale registration for the new dates opened Wednesday, Aug. 12. A Live Nation presale for All Access members followed on Thursday, Aug. 13. General public tickets go live Friday, Aug. 14, with prices starting at $175, including taxes and fees. Limited VIP packages include premium seating, exclusive merchandise, and parking access.

Sphere Residency Record: 72 Shows and Counting

Eagles now hold the record for the most performances staged at Sphere. Their 72 shows place them well ahead of other resident acts at the venue. Backstreet Boys sit in second place with 44 Sphere performances to date. U2 rounds out the top three with 40 shows. The band also holds the distinction of opening Sphere when it debuted in September 2023. Eagles began their own run roughly a year later, in September 2024. Since then, the band has returned to the venue in waves. Upcoming 2026 dates include September 18 and 19, plus four shows each in November and December.

What's Next for the Sphere Residency

Eagles have not announced a final Sphere show or a formal end date. The new January dates confirm the band's touring plans reach into early 2027. Questions about the group's longevity have persisted since earlier this year. Band member Don Henley addressed the topic during a February interview with CBS Sunday Morning. He said the band's long run together was likely nearing its conclusion.

Henley added that he had made similar comments before, only for the band to keep performing.

Eagles have given no indication that new music is planned. The Sphere residency remains the band's primary focus for now.
