Las Vegas Plans a Summer of Fireworks for America's 250th

Las Vegas is gearing up for a historic summer of fireworks to mark America's 250th birthday. The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) has announced the America250 Fireworks Celebration, featuring eight consecutive Saturdays of synchronized shows from June 6 through July 25. Together, the weekly displays will make it the largest summer fireworks show in the nation. The celebrations are also part of a broader summer campaign to boost tourism.

Las Vegas Fireworks: Times, Music, and Weekly Venues

Each eight-minute show begins at 9 p.m. and rotates across iconic Strip and downtown locations.

Fireworks by Grucci designed and produced the series in partnership with Visit Las Vegas and Las Vegas Events. Every show will be synchronized to music broadcast on Lotus Broadcasting stations KOMP 92.3 FM, 97.1 FM The Point, and 98.9 HANK FM. The Sphere will also participate, with complementary programming on the Exosphere every Saturday in June and July. Rotating launch sites include Caesars Palace, MGM Grand, Resorts World Las Vegas, and the Fremont Street Experience, among others.

Why July 4 Is the Biggest Night of the Summer

The season peaks on July 4, when Las Vegas will deliver what organizers describe as fireworks on the largest stage in the country. A synchronized display will launch from nine rooftops simultaneously across The Strip. LVCVA President and CEO Steve Hill spoke to the scale of the summer ahead. "We're marking America's 250th anniversary with fireworks lighting up the skyline across eight consecutive Saturdays, alongside everything visitors expect from a city that's all in, all the time," Hill said. "From A-list entertainment to high-energy pool parties and great all-inclusive deals, it's shaping into a summer celebration only Las Vegas can deliver."

From the Strip to downtown, the shows spread across Las Vegas every Saturday, culminating in a nine-rooftop launch on July 4.

• June 6: Caesars Palace, Treasure Island, and The Venetian Resort
• June 13: MGM Grand, ARIA Resort & Casino, and Planet Hollywood
• June 20: The Plaza Hotel & Casino, Binion's Gambling Hall, and Fremont Street Experience parking garages
• June 27: Resorts World Las Vegas, Fontainebleau Las Vegas, and The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower
• July 4: Nine Rooftops Across The Strip
