Nevada Gaming Revenue Steady in June, Strip Dips Slightly

Nevada's gaming industry held steady in June, even as the Las Vegas Strip closed out a stronger fiscal year overall. Statewide gaming win came in nearly flat compared with the same month last year, according to figures released by the Nevada Gaming Control Board. Clark County and the Strip both posted modest monthly declines, driven largely by a weak stretch for baccarat. Meanwhile, Northern Nevada markets helped offset that softness, posting sizable gains during the month. Despite the flat June reading, the Strip closed the fiscal year with solid growth, continuing a pattern of resilience across most Southern Nevada gaming markets.

Nevada Gaming Win Flat in June, Up for the Year

Nevada's nonrestricted gaming licensees reported total gaming win of just over $1.34 billion in June. The figure was up slightly from the same month last year. For the fiscal year running July 2025 through June 2026, statewide gaming win rose 2.59%, reaching more than $16 billion. That marked an increase from the prior fiscal year's total of roughly $15.6 billion.

Northern Nevada played a key role in the statewide gain, with Washoe County posting a sharp year-over-year jump of 17.64%.

The surge helped balance softer results recorded in Southern Nevada gaming markets. Regulators pointed to broad-based growth trends across most regions despite the mixed monthly performance.

Clark County and Strip See Slight Monthly Decline

Clark County reported a gaming win decline of 0.72% in June compared with last year. The Las Vegas Strip specifically fell 1.39%, slipping from roughly $765 million to about $755 million. A weak month for baccarat was the primary driver behind the decline. Strip baccarat win dropped 20% year-over-year, falling to $102.7 million for the month. Slot machine performance told a different story, with revenue climbing as visitors favored lower-stakes wagering options. The destination has also posted a 3.3% gain over the first six months of the calendar year.

Las Vegas Strip Closes Fiscal Year Up 2%

The Las Vegas Strip closed the fiscal year with total gaming win of $8.9 billion. That marked a 2% increase over the prior year. This growth came despite the softer June reading, reflecting stronger performance across earlier months of the fiscal year. Several other Southern Nevada markets also finished the fiscal year in positive territory. Mesquite led regional gains with a 6.6% increase, reaching $207 million for the year. North Las Vegas rose 4%, while the Boulder Strip and downtown Las Vegas each posted gains above 3%. Regulators noted the fiscal year results reflect continued strength across most gaming markets statewide, even with June's flat performance.
