Key Takeaways

  • London will host several major iGaming events in June and July
  • UK online gambling revenue reached £7.8bn in the latest UKGC figures
  • Industry leaders will gather to discuss regulation, compliance and innovation

London is preparing to host some of the biggest iGaming events in the UK this summer. Operators, suppliers, regulators and affiliates will gather for a packed conference season. The latest UK Gambling Commission data shows strong growth across online gaming and betting in the country.

The coming months will bring together awards ceremonies, compliance conferences and networking events. There will be attendance from important figures from across the global industry.

UK online gambling market is still growing

The UK gambling market recorded Gross Gambling Yield (GGY) of £16.8bn between April 2024 and March 2025. This data is from the latest Gambling Survey for Great Britain from the UK Gambling Commission. The growth was 7.3% year-on-year.

Online gambling accounts for a significant share of the market. Digital gaming and betting generated £7.8bn in annual yield. Online activity now makes up almost half (around 46%) of the total market.

Participation is also high. The data also shows that almost half of adults engaged in some form of gambling activity during the reporting period. This shows how mature the sector is.

The growth of online platforms continues and this has increased competition between operators, suppliers and affiliates. Promotions, new game launches and platform innovation are helping to attract and retain players. These are all required, though, as the market gets more and more crowded.

Scotland networking events open the 2026 season

The 2026 iGaming conference season began earlier this year. There were several invite-only networking events in Scotland.

Gleneagles Hotel hosted senior industry figures at a golf and padel networking event. This was organised by an iGaming turnkey solutions provider. The event mixed business discussions with informal networking opportunities.

Scotland has become a destination for exclusive iGaming networking events. Last year, several B2B suppliers organised a Ryder Cup-style golf competition featuring executives from the UK, Spain and Malta. The success of this led to a follow-up event held in Rome.

Scotland's smaller networking-focused gatherings have set the stage for the industry’s largest conferences and exhibitions in London this summer.

London to host major iGaming events this summer

The London conference schedule begins with the EGR B2B Awards 2026 on 3 June. The annual event recognises operators, suppliers and service providers across the online gambling industry. It has become one of the sector’s biggest awards ceremonies.

Attention then moves to London iGaming Week at the end of June.

The iGaming RegCom 2026 conference takes place on 29 and 30 June. It will bring together regulators, compliance specialists and gaming executives to discuss topics including anti-money laundering, responsible gambling and regulatory reform.

Networking event iGaming Club London 2026 follows on 30 June. This gives affiliates, operators and B2B suppliers an opportunity to build new business relationships during the week’s activities.

The conference calendar then moves to iGB L!VE 2026 at ExCeL London on 1st and 2nd July. The exhibition is expected to attract thousands of delegates from across the global iGaming sector. There’ll be operators, affiliates, suppliers and technology providers showcasing new products and services.

The event concludes with the iGB Affiliate Awards 2026 at The Shard. Here, it’s about celebrating achievements across the affiliate and digital marketing side of the industry.
