CopyBet partners with AFC Bournemouth for landmark 2026/27 season

CopyBet has been named AFC Bournemouth’s official betting partner for the 2026/27 season as the sportsbook continues to expand its presence in English football. The deal follows other recent football betting partnerships, including Midnite’s agreement with Middlesbrough FC.

The agreement will cover a significant campaign for Bournemouth. The club is preparing to compete in the UEFA Europa League for the first time alongside its domestic Premier League commitments.

It also gives UK-licensed CopyBet access to the profile surrounding one of the most eagerly anticipated seasons in the Cherries’ history.

CopyBet targets Premier League growth

CopyBet described Bournemouth as a natural partner for a growing company seeking to establish itself within a highly competitive market.

The operator pointed to the club’s progress through the English football pyramid. It also mentioned its ability to compete with teams possessing considerably greater resources.

The  partnership gives CopyBet a route into the Premier League during the first season of the competition’s voluntary ban on gambling companies appearing as front-of-shirt sponsors.

Betting brands can, however, enter other forms of partnership with Premier League clubs. This includes agreements covering shirt sleeves, training wear and advertising around stadiums.

Full details of the assets included in CopyBet’s agreement with Bournemouth have not been disclosed.

Bournemouth prepares for European debut

Bournemouth qualified for Europe after recording its highest Premier League finish ever. This secured the team a place in the 2026/27 UEFA Europa League.

The achievement is another important stage in the club’s rise. The club competed in League Two in the 2009/10 season.

Bournemouth commercial director Rob Mitchell said there was a clear alignment between the ambitions of the club and its new betting partner.

Fan initiatives planned for 2026/27

CopyBet intends to support the commercial agreement with a series of fan-focused initiatives throughout the campaign.

The operator has not yet revealed what these activities will involve. It did say, however, that they would give it opportunities to engage directly with Bournemouth’s supporter base.

CopyBet was founded in 2016. The brand offers markets across football, horse racing, tennis and other international sports. Its British operation, CopyBet UK Limited, is licensed and regulated by the Gambling Commission.
