Meet Ziv Chen

Ziv Chen has more than two decades of experience in the online casino landscape. He doesn’t just write about the iGaming industry; Ziv is one of the people who built it and helped shape online gambling into what it is today. Always drawn by the buzz, glitz, and glamour of the casino floor, Ziv pursued a career in the gaming industry and climbed through the ranks in major software providers and online gambling operators.

But after decades in senior leadership positions with casino companies, Ziv decided to pursue his lifelong passion for journalism and tell the fascinating gambling story to the rest of the world. When Ziv isn’t chasing the next breaking news, he loves to watch American sports. As a Pittsburgh graduate, he’s a diehard fan of the city’s Steelers, Penguins and Pirates.

"I love to read American History and Biographies. This is how I switch off from gaming and writing. Sitting with a big, fat book at a coffee shop and losing myself in another life is probably my happiest space. It even gives me ideas and new styles I implement in my own writing."

I’ve learn throughout the years that the first, and most harsh critic that will judge your writing is the Google algorithm. So being very neat and adhering to technical guidelines is my principle rule. But once I’ve passed that hurdle it’s time to put in all the creativity and get all juices flowing to produce a fun, engaging and unique story that will bring joy and value to the human reader, which (sorry Google), is the most important one. And when talking about value, it’s about sharing knowledge, educating, and most importantly, promoting ethical casinos and responsible gaming.
