  • What’s the first online casino you ever played at?

    Casino.com was my first online casino experience. I wanted to work for the company, so I created an account, played some games, and the rest is history.

  • What casino game surprised you the most?

    Baccarat. I always assumed it was a complicated, high-roller game, something James Bond would play. Then I had to write about it and realized it’s one of the simplest games out there, with just three bet options.

  • What’s the best piece of gambling advice you’ve ever received?

    Don’t rely on betting systems. I tested the Martingale on roulette for a blog and kept doubling down on red - until I hit the table limit and lost big. That’s when I learned the house edge always wins in the long run.

  • What was your “Welcome to the casino” moment?

    During my first blackjack session, I hit when I shouldn’t have, and the guy next to me made some comments. A few hands later, the dealer handed me a strategy card. Getting corrected by the dealer? That was humbling.

  • What’s a non-gaming hobby you’re really into?

    I play basketball every Saturday night. Sadly, at 44 years old, my body is ready to quit, and so I’m looking for my next hobby. I’m thinking of taking up tennis or getting into running.
