Scatter Pays
Lucky Apocalypse trades the usual paylines for a scatter system, paying for eight or more icons of a kind anywhere on the grid. Once wins are counted, involved symbols are removed, and an avalanche fills the empty tiles, creating the potential for more wins. This mechanic continues until no more wins are generated.
The symbols are an apocalypse survival kit, including med kits, knives, and pill bottles as the low pays. Four rabid zombies also appear as the premiums, paying up to 25x for 16+ symbol combos.
Base Game Thrills
Yggdrasil keeps things interesting in the main round with two features, the first one being Gigablox symbols. These icons appear as 2x2, 3x3, or 4x4 clusters of the same item. They transform into 1x1 icons once they partake in a payout. The formation can also split during an avalanche if irregular 1x1 segments form beneath it.
Progress Bar, the second feature, collects +1 points for each consecutive grid tumble. Four avalanches in succession add a random Gigablox to the reels. Six avalanches take things up a notch and add one to four wilds to the matrix. Nine consecutive avalanches award the crowning free spins bonus.
Two-Way Free Spins
Lucky Apocalypse features scatter symbols, and collecting four or more activates eight free spins. Each round during the bonus has a guaranteed random Gigablox, and the progress bar is re-configured into a multiplier meter. Each avalanche adds a point to the bar, triggering multipliers from 2x to 50x.
The highest multiplier achieved at the end of each avalanche is applied to the symbol wins, and the progress resets. The freebies can be retriggered with three scatters or by landing nine or more consecutive wins. Eight rounds are added to the multiplier reward.
