IGN and Dentsu Confirm Women in Gaming UK Event

IGN Entertainment and Dentsu Gaming have confirmed a new Women in Gaming UK event. This will take place in London later this month. It’s an initiative that’s been backed by Meta to bring together industry professionals. It will involve a focused morning of discussion, insight and networking.

Event to spotlight industry voices

The Women in Gaming UK event will be on Friday, 17 April at Dentsu London. The morning (it runs from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm) will feature a series of curated panels led by key figures across the gaming sector.

Organisers say the event is designed to create space for meaningful conversations around representation, career development and the future of the industry.

There’ll be panel discussions, a pop-up headshot photography studio and Meta hardware demonstrations too. It means guests will have the opportunity to try the latest technology in an interactive setting.

Dedicated networking opportunities will round out the morning. This will be a more informal setting for connections and collaboration. Further details on speakers and sessions are expected to be announced closer to the date.

The UK remains a central hub for gaming and iGaming talent, with London hosting major industry events while cities like  Leeds continue to emerge as important centres for growth.

IGN Live 2026 returns in June

Elsewhere, IGN Entertainment has  confirmed the return of its annual showcase. The 2026 edition will take place in Los Angeles on 6–7 June.

The two-day event will feature:

• Live-streamed presentations.
• Exclusive game reveals.
• A large show floor packed with playable titles.

Audience engagement will be a key focus. Content will also be streamed across multiple platforms, including Twitch and YouTube.

Previous editions have drawn major industry names. Examples include Xbox, Sega and Ubisoft, as well as high-profile entertainment guests. The 2025 event had more than 100 million video views and hundreds of millions of social impressions. This shows just how global the reach is.

Further announcements, including additional titles and guest appearances, are expected in the lead-up to June.
