Key Takeaways

  • Bet365 will have branding rights with the WNBA team
  • The operators reached a similar deal with the Chicago Sky last month
  • The company recently moved into its new US headquarters in Denver

Bet365 continues its push into the US market.

The company announced a new partnership with the WNBA’s Indiana Fever. The team has become immensely popular due to superstar Caitlin Clark, marking a significant win for the growing sportsbook. The deal grants bet365 branding rights for the team's broadcasts, social media, and betting promotions.

The deal comes a month after bet365 secured a similar partnership with the Chicago Sky.

Partnership Brings Excellent Brand Exposure

The WNBA has been growing fast over the last few years, and the Fever’s Caitlan Clark is a big reason why. She is shattering records for jersey sales, and her games receive eye-popping ticket sales and television numbers.

While bet365’s deal with the Chicago Sky was also a win, the one with the Fever will provide brand exposure that no other WNBA team can rival. With people turning into Clark’s games all around the country, they will now see the bet365 logo prominently displayed.

When fans visit bet365, they’ll be able to see Fever and Clark-themed promotions and pre-packaged bets. The company anticipates that this will result in a substantial increase in market share, further solidifying its position as one of America’s fastest-growing sportsbooks.

Bet365 Continues Investing in the US Market

After years of patience in the US market, bet365 has decided to further invest in the US market. The WNBA partnerships were preceded by the company setting up a US headquarters in downtown Denver. The sportsbooks also announced partnerships with three of the state’s major sports teams: the Colorado Rockies, Colorado Avalanche, and Denver Nuggets.

This focus on expanding in the US is relatively new for bet365. The operator took a cautious and methodical approach when entering the country, but now seems ready to take another significant step.

Bet365 sportsbook is currently available in 13 states.

WNBA Sponsorships on the Rise

Bet365 is not the only sportsbook to look to the WNBA for sponsorship opportunities.

The league’s popularity has also led to a rise in betting on the league. Now, the majority of US sportsbooks offer a wide range of betting options for the WNBA, along with numerous league-focused promotions. DraftKings and FanDuel even offer DFS leagues, demonstrating the importance placed on this fast-growing league.
