Key Takeaways

  • Thousands attended the two-day event in London
  • AI, sustainability and startups featured prominently
  • Stuart Hunter emphasised the value of face-to-face networking

iGB Live 2026 has concluded its second consecutive London edition. The event brought together thousands of professionals from across the global iGaming industry for two days of networking, education and business development.

The 2026 edition was held at ExCeL London on 1-2 July. It welcomed operators, affiliates, suppliers, game studios and technology providers under its "All In" theme. The exhibition was a mid-year meeting point for companies. It looked at how to strengthen existing partnerships, explore new business opportunities and discussed emerging trends across the sector.

There were three key business areas in focus. These were casino, sports betting and affiliate marketing. Delegates attended conference sessions, networking events and meetings throughout the two-day programme.

New initiatives debut at iGB Live

This year's edition introduced several new features aimed at supporting both established businesses and emerging companies.

Among the additions was the inaugural iGB Affiliate Manager Academy. This focused on affiliate management strategies and the growing role of artificial intelligence in recruitment and programme optimisation.

The event also launched a Sustainable Gambling Zone. Here, they showcased responsible gambling initiatives, player protection measures and sustainability practices from across the industry.

Innovation was another major theme. The  iGB Startup Accelerator and Pitch iGB competition gave five early-stage businesses the opportunity to present their products to a panel of investors, operators and industry experts.

The conference programme also featured keynote sessions from several high-profile speakers, including former Formula One team principal Claire Williams OBE.

Hunter highlights importance of in-person events

Clarion Gaming Managing Director Stuart Hunter said the continued growth of iGB Live demonstrated the industry's appetite for face-to-face engagement despite increasing digital connectivity.

"iGB L!VE continues to grow, attracting industry professionals from throughout the world and I think that reflects the strength of the brand but also the importance of face-to-face events in a sector which places so much importance on trust and interpersonal relationships."

Hunter added that the event has established itself as an important fixture within the annual business calendar.

"iGB L!VE has been described as a mid-year powerhouse serving as a meeting point where businesses can reconnect, review progress and prepare strategically for the months ahead."

Industry continues to evolve

This year's discussions reflected several wider trends currently shaping the iGaming sector. These included the greater adoption of artificial intelligence, increased focus on responsible gambling and continued investment in product innovation.

The event also talked about the growing collaboration between casino operators, sportsbooks, affiliate businesses and technology suppliers. Companies are seeking more integrated approaches to customer acquisition and retention.

With another successful London edition complete, iGB Live continues to strengthen its position as one of the industry's leading mid-year B2B events. This occasion clearly complements the major international exhibitions held earlier in the calendar.

Next year's  event is set to take place on 7th-8th July 2027.
