Key Takeaways
- The casino accepts 14 different forms of crypto payment
- Players in the U.S., U.K., and Australia are all blocked from accessing the website
- MOTHERLAND is intended to be a catch-all platform for gaming, streaming, and entertainment
Popular online streamer N3on has joined artist Iggy Azalea as a co-owner of MOTHERLAND, a cryptocurrency-based online casino.
An announcement on Sept. 11 confirmed that N3on, real name Rangesh Mutama, had joined the ownership team. The move was intentional, as MOTHERLAND combines casino gaming with other elements of the internet and pop culture, including streaming.
MOTHERLAND launched in Nov. 2024.
Adding another personality
A press release shared on Thursday detailed how MOTHERLAND is distinguishing itself from its other online casino competitors.
The casino is the “sexiest and most entertainment-rich casino on the Internet, blending gambling, livestreaming, celebrity appearances, and community into a one-of-a-kind destination,” the release read.
N3on’s partnership brings a huge online following and presence to the casino’s platform. He has 435,000 and 291,000 followers on streaming platforms Kick and Twitch, and 1.5 million followers on Instagram.
The new MOTHERLAND co-owner said that his decision to join the team was motivated by his desire to merge several popular destinations into one to help reshape the online world.
“Joining Iggy [Azalea] as a co-owner of MOTHERLAND is more than just a business move, it's about shaping the future of gaming culture,” he said in the announcement. “I've always believed the worlds of streaming, crypto, and entertainment were destined to collide, and MOTHERLAND is proof of that. Together, we're building a casino that's not only fun, but one that actually reflects the community and energy of the culture we live in.”
A growing presence
MOTHERLAND has already received more than $25 million in investment. However, it is not accessible in several of the top global markets.
The casino blocks access from users in the United States, the U.K., and Australia, among others.
Despite the limitations in accessibility, Azalea said that the casino is headed down a fruitful path thanks to its partnership with N3on.
“N3on's partnership marks an incredible next chapter for MOTHERLAND,” she said in the announcement. “His influence and connection to the gaming community perfectly complement the bold, entertainment-first vision that has fueled this brand since day one.”
N3on began his online career on YouTube in 2016. His content mostly included NBA 2K and Fortnite footage before he expanded to streaming platforms such as Kick and Twitch.
Azalea also engages in weekly live-streaming on MOTHERLAND. Other streams with OnlyFans creators, Azalea’s Cheeky Girls, and other gaming and crypto personalities are also regular occurrences on the platform.
