Key Takeaways

  • Doherty is known for being controversial online
  • There are suggestions this could be an attempt to mask a recent token scandal
  • Shuffle.com is a Curaçao-based company that focuses on cryptocurrency

Controversial influencer Jack Doherty is fighting an inability to post online content, based on a contract he signed with a casino company.

Shuffle.com, a cryptocurrency-based casino, told Doherty that they would pay him to “shut the f---up” in a post shared on X (Twitter). Doherty evidently agreed to a deal without the company without realizing they intended to enforce their stipulations, which prevent him from posting online.

Doherty shared in a post last Friday that he was trying to fight the contract.

Doherty and Shuffle.com contract fallout

The power of the internet.

The ordeal began when Doherty — who has over 15 million YouTube subscribers and 10 million TikTok followers, posted on X and asked if he should start a live stream to trade meme coins. Shuffle.com, owned by Curaçao-based company Natural Nine B.V., replied and told him they would pay him to stop talking. That tweet was sent on Sept. 27.

Partnerships between online gambling platforms, including crypto casinos, are standard for influencers. But having a partner who is actually an enemy and opposed to the creator’s content is not.

Doherty attempted to post online, seemingly unaware of the seriousness of the contract he had signed. He shared an update last Friday, in which he said he was working with an attorney to try to remedy.

“I recently signed a contract with a casino called shuffle.com but I didn’t read the contract fully,” he wrote. “One of the terms is that I’m not allowed to post online anymore, which I thought was a joke, but now they’re enforcing it.”

Doherty also wrote that it might be his last post for a while.

All a ruse?

Doherty’s net worth is unclear, although the belief is it falls between $3-10 million. His income has been supplied by online content that includes stunts and antics that have drawn significant scrutiny, making the ongoing ordeal with shuffle.com even harder to believe.

There have been suggestions that this is merely a ruse between Doherty and Shuffle.com, which generated an estimated $440,000 in estimated revenue in the year that ended in July 2025. It also raised $2.5 million in 1 round funding after it was formed in 2023. The platform offers poker, table games, and other attractions to its online customer base.

The break in posting comes as Doherty is dealing with the aftermath of a recent scandal, in which he turned a reported $2,400 investment into a $213,000 profit for his self-titled digital token, $JACK.

Doherty is known for his involvement in other controversial actions. He gained notoriety for a prank in which he would antagonize local pedestrians in public spaces until they either attacked or advanced toward him, at which time his personal security would subdue them.

He also crashed a McLaren on a Miami highway while reading messages during a live stream in Oct. 2024 and was arrested on misdemeanor drug charges in Nov. 2025.
