A section of the casino was taped off, and the shooting, according to eyewitnesses, happened near the cashier cage.
"As this is an active law enforcement investigation, we defer to North Las Vegas police for comment," David Strow, a spokesman for Boyd Gaming, said in a statement "We are cooperating fully with them in their investigation."

A lot we are still working to find out here. We know one person was killed. We don’t know if a suspect is in custody right now, we don’t know what all led up to this, how this all started,” the host finished.
