Seminole Hard Rock Casino was named an Official Miami World Cup 2026 Host City Supporter on Thursday.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 Host Committee announced the collaboration, which will strengthen Miami’s hospitality and entertainment offerings ahead of the once-every-four-years tournament this summer. As an Official Supporter, the Hard Rock casino will host a variety of engagements and events for soccer fans during the World Cup.
Miami is one of 13 host cities for the tournament, which will begin in mid-June. The other 12 are scattered around the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
Seminole Hard Rock ready for World Cup
The World Cup is one of the largest events in sports, alongside the summer Olympics. The 2022 tournament in Qatar, which was capped off by an unforgettable penalty shootout between France and Argentina, drew more than five million viewers.
With fans from all over the world preparing to make the trip to North America, Seminole Hard Rock Casino is preparing to offer visitors a host of hospitality and entertainment options.
“The FIFA World Cup 2026 unites the world together through sport, and the team at Seminole Hard Rock Casino could not be prouder to welcome fans to Florida as an Official Miami World Cup 2026 Host City Supporter,” said Jim Allen, Hard Rock International Chairman and CEO of Seminole Gaming, and member of the Miami Host Committee Board of Directors.

Securing the distinguished title will allow the casino to host special events and programs for fans and customers alike. This includes events outside of the stadium, in addition to supporting expanded transportation options via shuttles.
“With our destination minutes from the local excitement at Miami Stadium, we are uniquely positioned to extend the fandom beyond the pitch and make the experience extraordinary for those traveling to South Florida for the tournament,” Allen said.
Building the experience
The Seminole Tribe has a close connection with Florida gamblers. On top of offering the state’s only approved online sportsbook, Hard Rock Bet, they also own all but one of the seven retail casinos.
“Seminole Hard Rock Casino has always been about bringing people together through the power of music, entertainment, and unforgettable experiences,” said Keith Sheldon, President of Entertainment & Brand Management for Hard Rock International and Seminole Gaming. “As soccer fans gather in Florida for the FIFA World Cup 2026, we are thrilled to be part of the celebration and to create memorable fan experiences in Miami that capture the energy and global spirit of this historic event.”
Up to 10 million visitors will travel to the U.S. for World Cup matches this summer, according to the U.S. Embassy.
Between 600,000 and one million of those travelers are expected in and around Miami, which will host seven matches: four Group Stage, one Round of 32, one Quarter-final, and one Bronze Final.
“Hosting the FIFA World Cup 2026 is about more than matches, it is about creating a complete destination experience for fans,” said Rodney Barreto, Chairman of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Miami Host Committee. “Seminole Hard Rock Casino's leadership in hospitality, live entertainment, and gaming will play an important role in energizing the region and extending the celebration throughout South Florida, helping us deliver an unforgettable experience for fans from around the world.”
World Cup matches will run from June 11 until July 19. Matches at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami will occur from June 15 through July 18.
