Key Takeaways

  • The platform was the first launch of a former Rush Street CEO since he left the company
  • Caesars Entertainment partnered with G2 to help launch the platform
  • New Jersey’s iGaming market was up 17.5% year-over-year during June

New Jersey, one of America’s largest gaming markets, confirmed that it has now approved 30 total online casino platforms.

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE) revealed that it licensed three new iGaming platforms between June and last week. The last of those, Vegas Club Casino, went live last Wednesday through a market-access agreement with Caesars Entertainment.

The world-famous gaming brand operates Caesars Atlantic City, Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City, and Tropicana Atlantic City. iGaming platforms must strike deals with Atlantic City casinos before they can join the market.

Vegas Club Casino launches in New Jersey

Vegas Club Casino was launched by G2 Digital, a B2B platform for software and service providers founded by Greg Carlin and Dan Alexander.

Carlin was formerly the CEO of Rush Street Interactive and Rush Street Gaming, which holds an estimated market value of over $7 billion. The launch was his first since his departure in May 2022.

Alexander previously worked with PlayStar, which operates a separate online casino platform that is also live in New Jersey.

“Creating a great online gaming experience means delivering authentic excitement, real player protections, and the feeling that every player is a VIP,” Carlin said in a statement. “Vegas Club Casino combines the timeless appeal of classic Las Vegas with the transparency and security of a fully regulated online casino. We look forward to earning players' loyalty through fair play and a fun, exciting experience.”

G2 Digital said in an announcement that Vegas Club Casino offers hundreds of slot machines, table games, player rewards, and promotional opportunities. It also said that the platform was designed to capture the feeling of a Las Vegas casino while remaining compliant with the outlined consumer protections and regulations.

New Jersey’s prolific gaming market

Vegas Club Casino wasn’t the only Caesars-linked platform that recently launched. Ember Casino and Betinia Casino were also sworn in within the last month and change. Vegas Club Casino also announced its plans to launch in Alberta, Ontario and Pennsylvania, provided it receives regulatory approval.

The online casino platforms are joining a highly productive, but jam-packed New Jersey iGaming market.

The NJDGE reported that its online casino operators generated $271 million in revenue during June, up 17.5 percent year-over-year. Revenue during the first half of 2026 nearly hit $1.6 billion, which marked a similar 15 percent increase on the total reported after June 2025.

Total gaming revenue didn’t perform as well, although it was still ahead of last year’s marks. Casinos, racetracks, and affiliated online partners produced $585.6 million in monthly revenue, beating the year-over-year total of $581.6 million by 0.7%.

Retail casinos were down 0.7% YoY in June ($257.3 million) but up 2.3% during the first six-month period ($1.3 billion).

Gaming across all verticals is up to $3.3 billion through six months, a 6% YoY increase. Operators paid a combined $500.5 million in taxes during that time.
