Seneca Resorts & Casino was announced as a Founding Partner of the Buffalo Bills’ home venue at Highmark Stadium on Monday.
The announcement continues a longstanding relationship between Seneca and the Bills, which has existed for the last 20 years. Seneca will retain its title of the Bills’ “Official Casino Partner” while being an early supporter of the team’s new stadium, which will make its NFL regular-season debut in September.
The deal was described as a “multi-year” arrangement.
Seneca Resorts & Casinos, Bills partner up
With the partnership finalized, Seneca Resorts & Casinos will have a branded 16,500-square-foot event space, known as the “Seneca Resorts & Casinos Field Club" inside the stadium. The space will have views into the player tunnels and a patio behind the team’s bench and will offer complimentary food and drinks to game-attending guests.
An announcement released on behalf of Seneca and the Bills included comments from both entities.
“Our Seneca Resorts & Casinos team knows well the feeling of opening and operating world-class properties that are built for big moments. This is a big moment,” said company President & CEO Kevin Nephew. “There is nothing more exciting than when the Bills are playing. It takes over the whole community. We are proud of the strong partnership Seneca Resorts & Casinos and the Buffalo Bills have built together, and we are looking forward to celebrating many exciting moments here in the years to come.”
A Bills official added that Seneca was the right partner for its new home in Orchard Park, given its attitude toward the fans and customers.
“We're excited to continue our partnership with Seneca Resorts & Casinos as a Founding Partner at Highmark Stadium,” said Jason Hartlund, the Bills’ Chief Commercial Officer. “Their dedication to delivering exceptional experiences aligns with our vision for our fans and community. Together, we'll create memorable moments at the stadium and across Western New York for years to come.”
Details of the partnership
In addition to the self-titled Field Club, Seneca will display its brand on LED boards and Bills channels. It will also be the Presenting Sponsor of the Bills Legends Community, which includes being the presenting sponsor of the “Legend of the Game” at home games and Bills’ heroes who appear at Seneca properties during the duration of the partnership.
“The 'wow' factor and the experience for fans and guests will be unbelievable, on and off the field,” said Allie R. George, Chairman of the Seneca Gaming Corporation Board of Directors. “There is a natural connection for us to that rush of excitement because that is what we focus on at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino, Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino and Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino every day. That is why we are so excited to be part of the history and excitement the Buffalo Bills are making at Highmark Stadium.”
