Key Takeaways

  • The two entities have a relationship spanning nearly three full decades
  • Lambeau Field will soon have an Oneida entrance gate on the east side
  • The Oneida will present a home regular-season game during the 2026 season

The NFL’s Green Bay Packers and the Oneida Nation announced a multi-year extension of their longstanding partnership on Tuesday.

Per the terms of the deal, Oneida Casino Hotel will enjoy enhanced advertising opportunities inside the stadium during game days. Just 4.4 miles away from Lambeau Field, the gaming destination and hospitality spot will also be the sponsor of the gameday attendance tracker during the NFL season.

The Packers and the Oneida Nation have maintained a working relationship spanning different programs for over 27 years.

Packers run it back with the Oneida Nation

Familiarity between the Packers and the Oneida Nation made it easy for both sides to agree to an extension.

Not much is changing relative to the primary goals of the partnership. Both entities will work to create the best experience for Packers fans, as well as nearby guests and residents.

"We're pleased to extend our partnership with the Oneida Nation," said Packers President and CEO Ed Policy. "As two organizations with deep roots in Northeast Wisconsin, we share a commitment to providing excellent experiences for fans, visitors and the local community.”

The Packers’ brass also noted the increased engagements and activations that were created for fans through the arrangement.

“We are grateful to the Oneida Nation for their nearly three decades of partnership,” Policy continued. “We look forward to creating more opportunities for fans to engage with us on every visit to Northeast Wisconsin."

In addition to enhanced advertising opportunities, the Packers will maintain the Oneida Nation Gate on the stadium’s East side. The casino hotel’s logo will be added to signage before the 2026 NFL season begins in September.

Oneida Gate

A familiar presence

Already known as the Official Casino and Hotel of the Green Bay Packers, the Oneida Casino Hotel will continue to be the presenting sponsor of a to-be-announced home regular-season Packers game and “Memorable Moments” from the team’s past. These moments will be shown during the featured game and on the Packers’ digital platforms.

Additionally, Oneida will sponsor sweepstakes contests during the 2026 NFL campaign.

“This partnership has been mutually beneficial to both Oneida and the Packers,” said Oneida Nation Chairman Tehassi Hill. “We recently realized we have a billion-dollar economic impact on this region, and I am confident that comes in part from great business ventures like this. The Oneida Nation Gate is a source of pride for us, and it's front and center on Oneida Street. We were lucky to have this card played for a winning hand."

The casino-hotel is across from the Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport. It offers more than 390 rooms, 30,000 square feet of gaming space with more than 2,000 slot machines, live-dealer table games, on-site dining, an indoor pool and sauna, and more amenities.

Wisconsin legalized tribal casinos in 1991. There are now 26 casinos and Indiana gaming locations across the state.
