Bayern grows with Mega Casino World
Bayern Munich, the reigning champions in the German Bundesliga, is one of the biggest clubs in the world. Its commitment to increasing its worldwide popularity was cited as the primary motivation for securing the partnership in an announcement released by the club.
“Asia is an important market for the club. For this reason we are very happy to start and develop this regional partnership,” said Rouven Kasper, Member of the Executive Board, Chief Marketing & Sales Officer at FC Bayern. “Mega Casino World has a strong portfolio and a significant following throughout Asia. We are optimistic that this cooperation will broaden our reach in the Asian market. The three-year commitment with Mega Casino World will lift our commercial presence throughout Asia.”
The partnership between the two entities will begin ahead of the new season, which kicks off on Friday night. Bayern will face VfB Stuttgart at 8:30 p.m. local time.
Mega Casino World will retain the title of Official Regional Partner through June 30, 2029, barring an extension.
“We are pleased to enter this regional partnership with FC Bayern Munich and recognize the club’s leading position in international football,” said Jeosid Dave Monarca, Director of Mega Casino World. “We have made notable strides, and this three-year agreement outlines a comprehensive strategy for international outreach, reinforcing our brand’s connection.”
Taking advantage of the opportunity
Mega Casino World is a familiar name to fans of soccer and the Bundesliga. The gaming brand has partnered with Bundesliga International in Asia since 2023, since when Bayern has won three of four league titles.
Bayern has also maintained a space in the Asian gaming scene through partnerships with Betano and taptap, the latter of which focuses on Asian customers despite being headquartered in Belize.
“We are delighted to partner with FC Bayern Munich as we continue expanding our presence across international sport,” said Monarca. “Their global reputation provides an excellent avenue for both sides to strengthen our reach and connect with football audiences across the region.”
Bayern previously estimated that around half, or 200 million of 400 million, of its global following is based in Asia. China is responsible for an estimated 90 million followers on its own.
The German champions have offices in Shanghai, China, and Bangkok, Thailand. They also have over 80 official fan clubs with roughly 10,000 members across the continent.
Oddsmakers at major online sportsbooks have Bayern as a heavy favorite against Stuttgart and to win the league trophy. FanDuel Sportsbook lists them at -425 in the match and -800 for the season, with Borussia Dortmund (+1,000) being the closest expected challengers.
Mega Casino World offers customers a variety of online casino gaming options, including blackjack, roulette, slot machines, baccarat, video poker, craps, and more.
