Ontario Lottery and Gaming has selected Intralot Canada Ltd., the Canadian subsidiary of Bally's Intralot Group, as its new lottery technology solution provider following a competitive procurement process. The crown corporation issued a Request for Proposal in May 2024, seeking the most competent provider for its lottery technology overhaul. Intralot Canada won the competitive bidding process by demonstrating its technical capabilities and strategic alignment with OLG's modernization goals.

As part of its bid, Intralot Canada committed to growing its team to support implementation and ongoing operations in Toronto and Sault Ste. Marie. The extended timeline reflects the complexity of updating critical lottery infrastructure for Canada's largest provincial lottery operator.

Bally's Intralot Grows Its Canadian Presence

For Bally's Intralot Group, the OLG partnership solidifies its position across Canada's gaming landscape.

Formed by merging Bally's Corporation's North American lottery operations with European lottery specialist Intralot, the company brings decades of experience running mission-critical lottery systems globally.

CEO Robeson Reeves noted that its platforms are built to handle the scale, complexity, and security demands of modern lottery operations. The deal follows Bally's Intralot's recent agreement with British Columbia Lottery Corporation in April, signaling growing momentum in its Canadian expansion. Its selection by OLG reflects growing recognition of its technical expertise and ability to manage sophisticated modern lottery infrastructure.
