DraftKings is ready to celebrate the start of the 2026 NFL and NCAA football seasons!

The sports betting leader will hold “DraftKings Gameday” on Wednesday, offering an array of giveaways, bonuses, and other prizes across the US. The offers will cover DraftKings’ sportsbooks, casino, and predictions platforms.

The operator is also offering free gas for a limited time at select stations in Atlanta, Dallas, Detroit, Los Angeles, and Miami.

Details on where or when the offers will be available during DraftKings Gameday have yet to be announced.

DraftKings in All 50 States

In addition to celebrating the start of the football season, DraftKings is also using the promotion to celebrate the expansion of its new prediction platform. With sports markets now going live in non-betting states like California, bettors in all 50 states can now legally wager on football with the operator.

DraftKings Chief Marketing Officer Stephanie Sherman shared the company’s excitement in a press release announcing the deal.

The start of football season is one of the most exciting times of year at DraftKings, and 2026 marks a major milestone for our company. This is our first football season with DraftKings Sports available to fans nationwide, and Gameday is our way of kicking off the season and celebrating our customers by bringing together exclusive offerings, giveaways, and unforgettable experiences across the country.

Take Your Game Anywhere

In addition to promos, DraftKings is highlighting its new “Take Your Game Anywhere” ad campaign. It features Nick Jonas and Kevin Hart, who will show how to place bets on DraftKings from locations all across the US. The ads are already live on TV, digital, and social media.

The campaign’s goal is to further highlight DraftKings' all-in-one app. This allows bettors to seamlessly switch between whichever platforms are available in their location.

DraftKings hopes this ad campaign will also help drive home that bettors in all US markets can wager on sports using their platforms.

DraftKings Continues Predictions Push

The new campaign is DraftKings' latest effort to promote its new predictions platform. It comes after the sports betting giant began expanding its offering into states like Texas, Florida, and California, where their sportsbooks remain unavailable.

It hopes this expansion will help further cut into industry-leading Kalshi’s market share, while separating itself from sports betting rivals like FanDuel and Fanatics. However, the move doesn’t come without risk.

Over the last few months, lawsuits over sports prediction markets have turned against the industry. More judges are finding these offerings should be subject to state gambling laws, rejecting the argument that they are a federally protected form of commodity trading.

A recent ruling in California has paved the way for the US Supreme Court to rule on the issue. If it goes against the industry, it would force DraftKings to scale back its offering massively and possibly abandon sports prediction markets altogether.
