ICRG Receives Massive Donation from MGM
In addition to expanding its GameSense program, MGM is also putting its money where its mouth is. The gambling giant has donated $200,000 to the International Center for Responsible Gaming (ICRG). The funds will be used to support the group’s research into problem gambling and to explore how the US can more effectively combat it.
MGM has also helped financially support the American Gaming Association’s “Have A Game Plan. Bet Responsibility” campaign to help bettors gamble responsibly. It will also help the new “Keep Your Cool” campaign, which aims to reduce the harassment of athletes.
