A man who was at the MotorCity Casino in Detroit, Michigan, was robbed after cashing out his casino winnings and deciding to sit at the bar to watch the Detroit Pistons game.
Now, police are saying four people have been arrested in connection to the crime.

The victim of the crime said that after playing and winning, he decided to cash out his winnings and spend the rest of the evening sitting at the bar watching the Pistons game.
The robbery happened after 10 pm, but the victim said plenty of people were hanging out.
While at the bar, the victim said a man approached him and started talking about the game with him before they eventually both got up and walked off.
While walking away with the guy, a car pulled up, someone got out, walked toward the duo, and before the victim knew it, a total of four people, including the guy he was talking to at the bar, attacked him.
The victim lost about $2,000, car keys, and credit cards.
He said this all happened in front of security.
Police arrived on the scene, and the victim was treated for head, neck, and back injuries.
Victim Provides Comment, Recounts Experience.
Speaking with a local news affiliate, the victim recounted what happened to him.
“...Cashed out my winnings, went back, sat at the bar, looking at the game,” he started.
“A random guy walked up, and we making conversation about the game. So I get up, walk off, he walk off, and we still talking about the Pistons,” he continued.
“As I’m looking up, a car pulling up, a guy get out and I don’t know what alerted me to him, but a guy get out, light-skinned, young guy, get out and walk around and that’s when I like backed up.”
The newscaster recounts him being attacked before the victim provided other details.
“While I’m fighting, the lady screaming, ‘hey they robbing him, they robbing him,’ and I’m, you know, defending myself,” he said.
The victim then gets into detail regarding security.
“He still stood right there for a second, he had a chance to spit blood in my face… Y’all ain’t restraining him or nothing…”
“I’m in here gambling, playing my money, and then I can’t even leave out peacefully.”
The victim then recounted police arriving.
“As they was coming in, I was basically leaving up out of there… I hit my head in the elevator, blood everywhere…”
The Latest With This Case
Local news affiliates contacted MotorCity Casino for comment, but they said they don’t comment on active investigations.
Thus far, police have arrested four men in connection to the crime and recovered two weapons in connection to the incident.
