Ahead of the 2026 Counter-Strike 2 season, the United Kingdom-based esports organization Fnatic has made two roster moves.
They've released Benjamin "blameF" Bremer and have signed Pavle ‘Maden‘ Bošković to be the team's new fragger.
Fnatic posted the announcement on X regarding the moves, saying:
"As we approach the 2026 season and a new Major cycle, we’re announcing a change to our Counter-Strike team. Today we part way with @blameFFFF who is transferring to another organization, and we want to sincerely thank Benjamin for his professionalism, impact, and contribution during his time in Black & Orange," they began to say; more on blameF's new landing spot soon.
"As part of the system we’re building for the future, we identified the need to shift towards a more proactive entry-focused and aggressive rifler approach. To support that direction, we’re excited to welcome @madennCS - an experienced space taker, as we set our sights on the upcoming Majors and tier-one competition.
"Welcome to Fnatic, Pavle!"
The interesting part of their statement is that they mention this is part of the "system" they're building. They also highlighted a shift in their overall philosophy.
Maden comes in after playing with Zero Tenacity for seven months. While with them, he competed in some Tier 2 and Tier 3 events. He was also a temporary fill for Ninja in Pyjamas in December 2025, and helped win the Roman Imperium Cup III.
After leaving Fnatic, blameF has landed with German esports organization Berlin International Gaming, also known as BIG. He'll be the captain of their CS2 roster. BIG is currently ranked 35th as of January's Valve Regional Standings.
This move comes after BIG parted ways with Can "kyuubii" Aly, who was with them for a year.
