Key Takeaways

  • TSM dropped its Apex Legends team
  • The team consisted of Dooplex, Gent, and Peniac
  • TSM wants to acquire a team ahead of the LAN season in a few months

TSM announced on X that it's doing away with its Apex Legends roster.

As a result, the entire team, including Ira "Dooplex" Shepherd, Rigoberto "Gent" Padilla, and Nathaniel "Panic" Arthur, is no longer with TSM.

TSM Announcement on X

As mentioned, TSM announced the decision to part ways with the team on X.

"Today we announce the departure of our Apex roster.

"It's been an incredible year with the HUSS crew, and we can't wait to see the new heights you reach as a trio.

"TSM will look to reacquire an Apex roster closer to the start of the competitive LAN season," the organization wrote.

Dooplex and Gent signed with TSM in April 2025, and Panic joined a month later.

The trio performed well, finishing 7th at the ALGS 2025 Split 1 Pro League - Americas in June 2025 and at the ALGS Championship in January 2026.

TSM Reasoning and Fan Reaction

This move to part ways with the team and trio comes as TSM wants to "reacquire" a team closer to the start of the upcoming competitive LAN season.

As a result, fans interpreted this as TSM not wanting to pay Gent, Panic, and Dooplex in the meantime.

"Anyone thinking teams care about the players is wild. They said the quiet part out loud. They only want teams for LAN. Other than that, you’re a waste of investment as far as they are concerned," one fan wrote.

In the midst of this, Panic's Twitch has been growing. He recently showed a screenshot of his stats from a recent stream.

  • 1,818 average viewers
  • 3,410 max viewers
  • 255,474 unique viewers
  • 305,161 live views
  • 281 new followers
  • 91 new subscriptions
He's now above 20,000 followers.
Right now, it's unclear what will happen with Dooplex, Gent, and Panic as the next season approaches with ALGS' sixth year beginning on Feb. 28 and an online open going through March 23.
Furthermore, qualifying teams will head to the Pro League Split 1 in April.
