Team Vitality Dominates NAVI to Win BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026

The final for the 2026 BLAST Open in Rotterdam has been played, and Team Vitality came away with a crushing win over Natus Vincere. 

With the win, the team earned $150,000 in prize money. 

Looking Back at the Win

Heading into the finals, Team Vitality was favored. On the first map, Inferno, they came away with a 13-7 win, and ropz posted a 27-13 kill-death ratio. 

The second map was Anubis. Team Vitality got off to an 8-4 lead and eventually closed them out despite "NAVI" winning six. Once again, ropz was great, but sowasd mezii. 

Finally, the third map was Dust 2. Team Vitality got off to a 12-4 start, struggled a bit, but then came through with the win.

This was a 3-0 series win, but NAVI was quite close in most of the rounds. To get here, NAVI took down B8, Team Falcons, Aurora Gaming, and PARIVISION. 

As for Team Vitality, they didn't lose a single round, beating 9z Team 2-0, The Mongolz 2-0, and PARIVISION 2-0. 

NAVI is now No. 2 on the global VRS list. 

Vitality Win Streak

Team Vitality's last loss came at the hands of Team Falcons at the BLAST Bounty Winter Semifinals in January. Since then, they've won 16 matches across three tournaments. 

They've beaten almost all top teams and have now won three Major championships. 

Over their 16 wins, they've won 35 maps and lost just three. 

This win also marks their 20th straight map victory, surpassing NAVI's 19. The only team ahead of them is Ninjas in Pyjamas, who won 334 from 2012-13.

Team Vitality is now atop the VRS and will compete at IEM Rio 2026 in April.
