The 2026 VCT season is just around the corner, and Team Liquid has announced its new VALORANT roster.

In all, there are five players, including three rookies, according to Esports Insider.

The primary goal for this roster, as head coach Ivo "LohaN" Albino put it, was to find passionate players.

The New Roster

The five-player roster includes the following:

  • Ayaz ‘nAts’ Akhmetshin
  • Kamil ‘kamo’ Frackowiak
  • Dominykas ‘MiniBoo’ Lukasevicius
  • Seymon purp0′ Borchev
  • Wayne ‘wayne’ Chang

The two familiar faces are nAts and kamo. They've played with Team Liquid in the past and have experience competing in the VCT. However, MiniBoo, purpO, and wayne are new to the team, but fit the overall vision of not only passion, but players who have youth, dedication, and more.

“I want to raise the bar for this year,” the head coach said. “I want the players to develop more atonomy in the way they work. Last year at some point, it felt that my influence was the key points for success. When we’re facing things we’re not so comfortable with, we struggled to find answers.

“This year, we want to develop a more creative side to our players where they are more creative and think for themselves.”

More on These Players

LohaN discussed the three new players, saying the following about each:

  • wayne comes in from the APAC region, and LohaN felt he could provide insight into how players from other regions play.
  • In LohaN's words, MiniBoo is "very, very professional." He'll also bring experience and brings ideas to the table.
  • purpO has two years of professional experience and brings discipline that could help stabilize the team.

These moves come after Team Liquid partnered with UNICEF in November.
