More About the Deal
Motorsport Australia and Next Level Racing have been working side by side since 2023. As a result of this agreement, Next Level Racing's official title is the "Official Esports Racing Cockpit Partner of Motorsport Australia."
Additionally, this deal will allow Motorsport Australia members to use a discount on Next Level Racing products through the body's members' rewards program.
Next Leveling Racing was founded in 2009 and provides immersive racing and flight simulation experiences. It has built partnerships with organizations like Ferrari, Ford Motor Company, Sony PlayStation, G2 Esports, Boeing, iRacing, and more, per the press release.
Both Company Execs Speak Out
Next Level Racing Chief Marketing Officer Kam Khadem commented on the pact, including discussing the brand's long-term commitment to the growth of esports in the Australian motorsport scene.
“Esports continues to play an important role in introducing new participants to motorsport and strengthening the overall competition pathway,” Khadem said.
Furthermore, Khadem had this to add:
“Our partnership with Motorsport Australia allows us to support that growth by providing reliable, high-performance simulation equipment.
“We’re proud to remain the Official Esports Racing Cockpit Partner and contribute to the continued evolution of the programme.”
Next Leveling Racing will supply Motorsport Australia with hardware at various events. For example, at this year's Formula One Qatar Grand Prix, the two parties will host an esports experience that lets fans try Next Level Racing products.
Loren Di Pietro, the Partnerships Manager for Motorsport Australia, discussed the importance of Next Level Racing.
“Next Level Racing’s ongoing support provides competitors with access to world-class simulation technology and equipment,” Di Pietro added.
“The partnership continues to enhance our Esports offering while creating new engagement opportunities for members and competitors.
“We thank Next Level Racing for their continued commitment and investment in Australian motorsport.”
Other Esports Partnerships
Back on January 21, Motorsport UK launched an esports cup.
There have also been other partnerships in the esports world that are not connected to sim racing.
One of them included Full Sail University and Tribe Gaming working together to launch an esports internship program.
Also, back in November, Team Liquid and UNICEF partnered up to help provide humanitarian and developmental aid across the world.
