Key Takeaways

  • Method teams up with SCAN to support Race to World First for World of Warcraft: Midnight
  • SCAN branding will appear across Method creators’ channels, broadcasts, and community events
  • The guild hopes to regain Race to World First dominance after Battle for Azeroth success

With World of Warcraft: Midnight, Blizzard's 11th expansion for the 2004 MMORPG, launching this month, so too will be the upcoming Race to World First for Season 1, which begins on March 17.

The opening season features three raids: The Voidspire, The Dreamrift, and the March on Quel'Danas, and Method, one of the premier guilds and organizations, will look to continue being among the first to complete the content.

As a result, the British organization has partnered with hardware supplier SCAN Computers.

More on the Partnership

According to Esports Insider, SCAN will be promoted across all Method creators' channels and events for a month.

There will also be giveaways.

“SCAN is synonymous in the UK as the go-to PC hardware brand for your next build, and I personally recommend their ‘Live Build’ option. It gives you the chance to watch your system being built. We’re incredibly excited to have SCAN back supporting Method for our Race to World First and the launch of the Midnight expansion," said Liam White, Method's Head of Partnerships.

Another Partnership for Method

Method began in 2005 during the "Vanilla" version of World of Warcraft, which launched in November 2004. Over the last few years, Method has continued to bring in partnerships, including Theta Network, Noda Prime, Instant Gaming, soft drink company Holy, and Web3 MMORPG Valhalla.

The last Race to World First Method win came during the Battle for Azeroth expansion, when Method became the first guild to clear Battle for Dazar'alor, The Eternal Palace, and Uldir.

Thus, Method failed to win a race in Shadowlands, Dragonflight, and The War Within.

Now, it hopes to recapture that Battle for Azeroth prestige.

In The War Within, Liquid was the first guild to clear each raid. Speaking of Liquid, last year, it acquired the EA FC Esports team, Team Gullit
