More About Tanawong
Tanawong's career began in 2002 as a Transaction Advisory Services Consultant at Ernst and Young LLP after earning an MBA in Finance/Strategy from the USC Marshall School of Business. Before that, she received her BA in French and English Literature at Emory University, according to her LinkedIn page.

After working at Ernst and Young, she moved to Yahoo!, where she spent more than seven years in various roles, including Director, Business Operations & Monetization; Senior Manager, Media Operations Finance; and Senior Financial Analyst.
Then, in 2015, she moved to serve as VP of Sales Strategy + Operations at Fullscreen.
After more than three years at that company, she moved to YouTube, where she served as the Director/Global Head of Strategy and Operations for YouTube BrandConnect through September 2023.
While working at YouTube, she began her MBA program and finished it in November 2023.
Just before completing her MBA, she was hired as the Vice President of Strategic Finance & Operations at Meow Wolf.
Now, he lands as the COO of GameSquare.
According to a press release from GameSquare, Tanawong will mostly focus on "cross-platform strategic planning, operational scalability, financial performance analytics, and execution discipline across GameSquare's integrated ecosystem of media, creator, and technology assets."

GameSquare Holdings Inc., a media, entertainment, and technology company, is based in Texas. It has a network of subsidiaries in the gaming, media, and esports space. It most notably owns FaZe Clan Esports.
Some of the other companies under its umbrella include Code Red, Stream Hatchet, and Zoned Gaming.
In 2025, GameSquare made a $250 million investment in NFT and DeFi Yields, along with other crypto and web3 partnerships. Also, in April 2025, GameSquare divested its remaining 25.5% share in FaZe Media.
