Key Takeaways

  • The feature debuted on Monday.
  • More than 1,500 FanDuel casino users per day win jackpot prizes.
  • Only seven states have legal online casinos.

FanDuel is not just the leading provider of American sports betting—it is also one of the top online casino destinations.

The preeminent gaming platform just announced the launch of FanDuel Casino Jackpots, letting its customers play for progressive jackpots. The announcement was confirmed in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday.

This comes shortly after FanDuel added My Spend, which makes it easier for players to track their iGaming expenditures.

Winning even bigger

FanDuel’s progressive jackpot is now live in New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, the last of which was just introduced on Wednesday.

Progressive jackpots can come from different slot machines or table games. Once a user chooses to opt in, an additional $.10 will be added to every wager for a shot at four different jackpots, labeled Mini, Minor, Major, and Mega.

More than 50,000 FanDuel casino users have won jackpot prizes since they were introduced in early 2025.

“At FanDuel Casino, we're all about the winning feeling, and with FanDuel Casino Jackpots, we're taking it up a level with more jackpots and more winners than ever before,” said Senior Vice President of FanDuel Casino Andrew Gradwell. “Adding this extra layer of excitement onto our range of top and exclusive games, players now have more chances to win every time they play one of their favorite online casino games.”

The launch was facilitated by BeyondPlay, which helps with online gambling player engagement and jackpot management. FanDuel acquired BeyondPlay in February 2024 to bolster its casino offerings.

Online casino growth and attention

FanDuel’s addition of progressive jackpots is part of its commitment to pushing its overall gaming brand across all platforms, not just sports betting and daily fantasy sports.

“We are incredibly proud to deliver on our promise to the FanDuel team by providing them with best-in-class jackpot technology, leveraging the deep expertise of our team at BeyondPlay,” said BeyondPlay CEO Karolina Pelc. “This launch is something we've been eagerly anticipating, and seeing it go live across three states is a true testament to the strength of collaboration between our teams — now all part of FanDuel.”

The FanDuel online casino debuted in Pennsylvania in June 2020, less than two years after it went live with sports betting for the first time in New Jersey.

Since the launch of jackpots, more than 1,500 FanDuel customers have been crowned winners per day.

Only seven states have legalized online casinos. Those states include:

  • Connecticut
  • Delaware
  • Michigan
  • New Jersey
  • Pennsylvania
  • Rhode Island
  • West Virginia

However, with the increased pervasiveness of gambling in forms such as prediction markets, sweepstakes casinos, and sports betting, online casinos figure to become a more popular and widely available attraction in the coming years.
