More From the VGW Spokesperson
Recently, a new domain, luckylandcasino.com, popped up, featuring a pink, green, and yellow color scheme on its homepage. There was also an option to pre-register, and now, in this reveal to Sweepsy, it's true: A new sweepstakes platform is coming.
This platform will feature live social casino games, instant-win titles, and other table games. The offerings will extend past what's available at LuckyLand Slots.
Here are more details from VGW:
“VGW is excited to be launching LuckyLand Casino, a vibrant new social casino with dazzling games, social live casino, thrilling jackpots and industry-leading customer protections,” the spokesperson told Sweepsy. “LuckyLand Casino refreshes VGW’s portfolio with an entirely new, cutting-edge brand and operation that delivers all the LuckyLand fun but with a name that reflects an enhanced, broader experience for players seeking a wide range of free-to-play games and features, including social live casino and additional exclusive content.
“For example, LuckyLand Casino players will be able to play instant win games, plus many other additional table games. In addition, social live casino will not only be available for slots games, but many other games as part of the broader social games experience beyond slots, such as dedicated blackjack tables, multiple versions of baccarat and roulette.
“This includes popular titles such as Quantum Roulette, Spin A Win and Adventures Beyond in Wonderland, known for their immersive presentation and multiplier bonus features. We look forward to engaging with players on this exciting launch and having them experience the amazing work done by our teams that brought this project to life.”
Sweepstakes Industry Under Fire in 2025
This news from Virtual Gaming Worlds comes at a time when brands are either fleeing states or shutting down altogether. This year alone, Montana, Connecticut, New Jersey, and California have had governors sign bills into law. There's also New York, which passed a law but hasn't been signed yet.
Outside of those states, others like Arizona, Louisiana, Tennessee, Maryland, Mississippi, and West Virginia may not have official laws, but they're coming down hard on sweepstakes casinos.
This comes at a time when VGW is changing up its sweepstakes play in Tennessee, dropping it in December.
We'll see what comes of this new sweepstakes platform, including the states it launches in and the type of play that'll be available.
