Initial Offerings
Evolution's studio in Cebu will commence operations with live Baccarat tables and confirms it will introduce Lightning Roulette, Marble Race, and Super Color Game, an offering designed for local Filipino audiences, later this year. The game show formats are new to the Asian market and will join the studio's portfolio by late 2025.
"With player favorites available from day one and more exciting titles on the way, our focus remains on quality, innovation, and localization—the keys to building trust and lasting engagement," reiterated Gionata la Torre while explaining Evolution's strategy for the region.
The facility complies with PAGCOR regulations, establishing a scalable operational model for Evolution's broader Southeast Asian growth ambitions.
Leveraging Regional Performance
Considering the country's established regulatory framework, the Philippines is the ideal point for Evolution's Asia-Pacific expansion strategy. Its establishment follows Asia's standout revenue performance for the B2B provider. The region generated €201.9 million in Q1 2025, marking a 2.2% year-on-year increase, becoming Evolution's top-performing region despite a marginal dip from Q4 2024's €202.2 million. Europe followed closely with €189.7 million, also reflecting a slight annual decline.
Globally, Evolution's live gaming dominated revenue generation at €448.7 million, a 3.9% year-on-year uptick. RNG titles accounted for €72.3 million. The studio's launch in Asia looks to capitalize on its positive financial trajectory.
Strategic Global Expansion
Evolution's expansion into Asia reflects its growing live casino presence across North America and Europe, including a third New Jersey Studio and second Romanian facility launched in Q1 2025. The Cebu studio is a replicable model for future growth in jurisdictions adopting similar regulatory standards. It also underscores the company's focus on licensed markets that offer the convenience of scalable operations and region-specific game development.
