In a report from the National Trade Association, it was reported that American commercial casinos won a record $66.5 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The American Gaming Association reported that the total was roughly 10 percent higher than 2022. Inflation is at a record high and this has limited people&#8217;s spending money. Yet even still, Americans are finding money to take to the casino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFrom the traditional casino experience to online options, American adults\u2019 demand for gaming is at an all-time high,\u201d said the American Gaming Association\u2019s President and CEO Bill Miller through a statement. \u201cInflation began to cool, consumers began to spend and the (U.S. Federal Reserve) held rates steady,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Record End to the Year<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Even in the face of traditional factors like holiday spending and costs associated with that time of year, gamblers continued to lay down their money.
