Aces and Faces is played in a similar fashion to Deuces Wild or All American video poker, with a few changes in the payout schedule and hand ranking. As you can probably imagine from the name, Aces and Faces puts a greater emphasis on…aces and face cards! The main differences between Aces and Faces and other online casino video poker games is the fact that four aces ranks higher than a straight flush and that four Jacks, Queens, or Kings rank higher than lower ranked four of a kind hands.
You'll play Aces and Face videopoker with a standard 52-card deck and with no aces. There are 9 winning hands: A Royal Flush, Four Aces, Straight Flush, Four Face Cards (all Jacks, all Queens, or all Kings), Four of a Kind (for card values 2-10), Full House, Flush, Straight, Three of a Kind, Two Pair, One Pair of Jacks or Better.
Also similar to All American video poker, you'll have the option of playing an additional gamble game. After you win a hand you'll get the choice either to collect what you've earned or to click on the "Double" button. You'll then choose one of 5 cards, as will the dealer (computer). If your card is valued higher than the computer's card, then your winnings from your last hand will be doubled! You'll then get the option to collect or gamble again. If, however, you choose a lower card, then you'll lose all the money from your current gambling session AND from your previous poker hand played.
