Baccarat Rules
The object of Baccarat is to obtain a hand with a point total closest to 9. Tens and picture cards count as zero, aces count as one and 2 through 9 as their face value. If the hand value totals ten points or more, subtract ten, and the remainder is the Baccarat point value of the hand. For example: 8+6=14=4 and 6+4=10=0
You can bet on the banker's hand, the player's hand and on a tie. You can bet on more than one at a time. The player and the banker are then each dealt a two-card hand. In certain cases, the Third Card Rules will be applied (see below). Cards are dealt from a shoe of 6 decks of cards which are shuffled for each round. The winner is the player closest to 9.
- If you bet successfully on the player you are paid out 2 to 1 on your bet.
- If you bet successfully on the banker you are paid 2 to 1 minus 5% bank commission (vigorish).
- If both the player's hand and the banker's hand have equal totals, the result is a 'tie'. If you placed a bet on the 'tie' field, your payout is 9 to 1.
