When the deck is rich in 10 countcards how do you know you are going to get the big cards and that the dealer will get the stiff?
Dear K.C, Yes, the dealer has as much chance as you do to catch the tens in a ten rich deck. However, when you get a blackjack (which is more liekly in a ten rich deck)you get paid 3 to 2 whereas if the dealer gets a blackjack you pay him even money. When you double down on 9, 10, or 11 in a rten rich deck you are more apt to make good (at double the original bet). If you have a stiff hand you don't have to draw when the deck is ten rich. However, if the dealer has a stiff hand he must draw and if the deck is ten rich he is more likely to bust. These are some of the reasons why a ten rich deck favors the player more then the dealer (for more see my Advanced Blackjack Strategy articles on www.blackjack.casino.com). Regards, Henry
