Playing the fun, fast-moving game of craps at Casino.com couldn’t be simpler. Just follow our simple guide and you’ll soon be playing online to win some fantastic cash prizes!
To begin playing craps, double-click on the Casino.com icon on your desktop. The casino lobby will launch. Select your preferred game mode (Practice Mode or Play for Real Money) and log in. Click on Table Games and select Craps. The craps table will open in a separate window.
The most important elements of the craps table are the two dice and the "puck," which indicates the game’s status. One side of the puck displays the word Off (this is the black side), the other displays the word On (the white side). The puck will remain Off until you roll a "point" number.
Before rolling the dice for the first time in the game (this is known as the "come out" roll), you must place a bet on an area of the table such as the Pass Line, Don’t Pass or Field. To place a bet, click on your preferred chip, and then click on a betting area.
To increase the value of a bet, click on any chip pile already on the craps table. To decrease a bet, hold down the Shift button on your keyboard and click on the chip pile of the bet you want to decrease.
Note that the chips will decrease in accordance with your currently selected chip value. To remove the bet entirely, simply right-click on the chip.
Click the Roll button to roll the dice. If the numbers 7 or 11 come out, you automatically win and are entitled to another come out roll. However, if a 2, 3 or 12 come out, you will lose the game. This is referred to as a crap.
If the come out roll produces a total of 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10, (known as a point number) the puck will flip over to display the word On. This means that the point has now been established. The puck will remain On until a 7 is rolled, or the point number is rolled again, when the game will be over.
Once the puck has switched to On, it will automatically be placed on the area of the table that corresponds to the number rolled. For example: if you roll a 6, the puck will be placed above the number 6 square on the craps table.
Note that if you have rolled the dice and the puck is still displaying Off, this doesn’t mean the game is not in progress. The puck will switch to On once a point number has been rolled.
When you win a bet during a round of online craps, a brief summary of how you have won it and the money you have been awarded will be displayed at the top of the window, above the online craps table. Here’s an example: TOTAL bet: $26.02. Player bets $0.50 on Pass Line, $0.50 on Come Bet 4, $25 on Come Bet 8, $0.02 on Buy Bet 10. TOTAL win: $50. Player wins $50 on Come Bet 8.
To start a new game of online craps, click on New Game. The craps table will appear and you will have the option to place a bet or roll the dice to begin the first round.
